If Shakespeare knew HTML
Do you think he’d have a website?
Would millions read his poetry?
Would he still be as erudite?

Would a rose by any other name
Be a graphic you could download
Would Hamlet know poor Yorik
Without a programmer’s code?

Would Romeo find Juliet
On a Yahoo personal ad
Would MacBeth, if he could surf
Turn out so wickedly bad?

Poetry would still be written
If Shakespeare knew HTML
And if he did he would probably
Turn out to be Ron Carnell!

Great ending, Lady deVine, and I wholeheartedly agree with it!

LOL indeed. PDV - I like your poetry muchly.

(BUT CHRISTOPHER!!!! I'm shocked! Wherefore art thou doesn't mean 'Where are you?' it meant - for Juliet, WHY was her love the son of her father's enemy!!!! Tchtchtch.....J/K. One of the most common literary misconceptions - Shakespeare would turn in his grave... heheheh - caught you out!)

Dear, it seems that t'was you who did misunderstand, for my words were meant to be a satirical reference to the late great!
(so there, you didn't catch me, I was one step ahead!)

Yes, Shakespeare does have a website now. Just look at how many times he's qoated on a day to day basis, right here! This is very nice, and cute, too.

Wouldn't it be nice to have shared a room with Beethoven or Shakespeare? Then, when someone remarked upon hearing one of their compositions, "Isn't that great!", you could say, "Yep, my roommate wrote it."

Ron, you have been immortalzed! (That's not to say we want you to go kicking any buckets anytime soon)

"So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee."

Good one, DeVine!
