~*~Angel On Tippy-Toes~*~ ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 She stood at the window watching. On tippy-toes she strained. Waiting for the angel to take her home again. Take me home. Please, I ask of you. Return me to the ones I love. I cannot stay with you. My Mommy wants to hold me. Daddy wants to play. Please take me back, my little brother cries all day. The angel held her gently, and wiped her tears away. You cannot go back, my love. This is where you will stay. Let's go meet the Father, who loves you the very best. He will gladden your heart and you then will rest. The little girl and the angel met with God that day. To stay in Heaven, God convinced her ... she would stay and play. When the stars shine at night, your Mommy and Daddy hit their knees. They will know that you are waiting here with me. They will come someday. They will think it is so great. Their own little angel waiting, to greet them at the gate. The little girl smiled. Her joy twinkled in the night. Her Mommy, Daddy and little brother wait to see her light. Look to Heaven's light, any night you choose. You will see the brightest star twinkling back at you. You'll know you've seen the angel, Heaven calls Tippy-Toes.
