A knight in armor road the way Full of pride that mournful day It could be in his visor slept He passed maidens where they wept Distressed damsels cried out his name He road on by he was not to blame They wore such fancy see through clothing And became the subject of his loathing He passed beseiged castles at a trot Those damned vassals deserved their lot They drank their wine as peasents burned It was his joy to watch them learn He wore the blackness of the night His heart was laced with hopeful light His soul where anger's talons cut And rage was all that filled his gut Helping others not his forte The reason why he road this way The sword he wore he killed each foe Why deemed a knight who wants to know [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 09-13-99).] [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 10-28-1999).] |

Not a very nice guy, this knight. But wonderfully written tale, none the less!! I liked it!! ------------------ *Krista Knutson* "If I could be an angel, I'd make your every wish come true. But I am only human, just a woman lovin' you..." Trisha Yearwood |

Now this knight shall trot his way back to the top in respect for all the eyes that happened to miss this on it's first trot through. |

Aye Walt I like this one too Everyone can't be a nice guy I guess...but someone still has to tell his story, no? You did that well! ------------------ "Tread softly, for I have spread my dreams under your feet"~~William Butler Yeats |
