My daughter faun

Named my daughter after a fawn,
Looked as pretty when she was born.
Each time she stands within my sight,
The time rolls back in sheer delight

A conjured glean a passing dream,
A parents ever loving theme.
Forever a child to my eye,
Her childhood never said goodbye.

Although an adult now, quite grown
With lovely children of your own.
A mother and a known trustee
Yet to my eyes you still show three.

Sorry dear this gullible brew,
My mind does hold you in this view.
Though getting old I'm not senile.
You'll ever show this loving wile.

I ask you let the judgement wait
I'm sure in time, you will relate.

Lovely thoughts, Seymour. Time marches on until the magic of our camera comands .. Halt ! Then time stands still as we flip through the Rolodex of memories.

So beautiful, they may be grown but in the heart they will always be our babies. A lifetime of beautiful memories to revisit and relive anytime, can't think of anything nicer!!

She is certainly worthy of a poem in her honor. Nice, Sy.

Bal, Mike, sally and Watcher,
I left the sight to go to the loo.
Came back and found my poem on page two.
Thank you all for the boost back.

Sunshine,
Children, that says it all *L*
Balladeer,
