In the mirror a face with tired eyes staring back uncertainly at me I wish these eyes could really see the me that I'm supposed to be... A voice talks to the face looking back "where are you?" for a moment there's a reflected smile as the twinkle in the eyes shines through... This stranger in the mirror she turns her head and watches me why is she so interested ? could she be looking at what I really see? Another angle is always the same shamefully my eyes shift to the floor glancing back she still looks at me as before... This stranger in my mirror has a fear that lives inside that the outside can't reflect to me we all have secrets we hide ... but she won't let me in I'll have to let her go I look away and turn to leave and the stranger gives up on me... ------------------ You give but little when you give of your possessions. Get away from that mirror and start looking at your friends... for in their faces you'll see the reflection of the beautiful, strong woman you are and in their smiles you'll see just how interesting and delightful you are. *S* (That mirror may tell you that you're the fairest of them all... but we're more fun. *G*) Well done, Rainbow! |

Beautiful but sad poem RG...***hugs*** Suthern is right...look at your reflection of those who love you so you can begin to see yourself and not a fearful stranger looking back...you are a soul where so much beauty lives. |

It's a good thing Mirrors can't reflect what's really on our hearts. How many of us would have a black pit on our walls? *wink* or in your case, a flower garden Great piece!
