what should i feel?
right now at this moment?
yes we made love tonight,
but my heart would never know it.

maybe its because,
it doesnt make everything alright,
as much as i would like it to,
im still left wondering tonight.

about where all the magic went,
and all the warmth in your touch,
i remember all the innocence,
and realize its missed so much.

of all the softest kisses,
that stole my heart away,
and every single i love you,
that i can still feel to this day.

of all the simple times,
that are taken for granted now,
i know your still in love with me,
only its different somehow.

because im still at the point,
where i want to hold you near,
but you no longer need to hold me,
to know my love is sincere.
