Yanno if I were Catholic,
And went to a "confession"
I'd spend months of "Hail Mary's"
And never learn a lesson.

Now if I were a Baptist,
That may not be so bad?
Then everyone would pray for me,
"God we gotta save Toerag!"

They'd say; "Toe, come to our revival,
We're having it right here,"
I'd say, "Are ya havin' a fellowship supper?
Want me to bring the beer?"

After that I'd try the Lutherans,
I hear they're known to drink a few,
Do yanno if they play bingo?
I wonder what else they do?

What religion's Jimmy Swaggert?
He seems to do quite well,
He's a rich and famous preacher,
And "saves" the whores all for himself?

ROFLMAO.... Ah, Brother Toerag (small country Baptist churches don't bother with the reverend bit... too hard to spell *G*...and if you brought the beer, they'd be too busy praying for you to even eat at that fellowship supper) I'd love to hear one of your inspired sermons... for I'm sure you've inspired a few! LOL. Great poem, Toe... thanks for the grins!

Well Toe I gotta tell ya
I've checked out a few
They're best taken in small doses
Did you say you'll bring the brew?

They go to churches weekly
Pass the collection plate
Count the bills as they roll in
And then assure your fate

Nice Toe, thought I'd add something i thought you left out.
