Smoky, musky sweet perfume
Help me survive this lonely gloom
Slim coated glistening walls
Lonely voices echoes in the halls

Entrapped in Darkness' tight embrace
This mortal coil does through race
Awaiting death at every door
Fire licking every pore

Shadows hide the truth inside
Where Dragons heart did reside
Alone and lonelier by far
Sometimes wishing on a star

Multiple hues of black and red
Flank the trail of the dead
Playing games upon my head
Following to where I'll be lead

At cemeteries gate the path ends
After many perilous twists and bends
Here lay the dead in repose
So told the tale of each of those

Marble stones at every turn
Hell's flames do brightly burn
Skin scorched, And soul torn
Ah, plight of the forlorn

Very well written and expressed, Watcher! I know the mood too well also, my friend. Great visual expressiveness as well
