Lover's Prayer

Heavenly Father up above
please protect the girl I love.
Keep her safe and keep her sound,
no matter when or where she's
found.
Help her know, help her see
that I love her, make her
love me.
And dear Lord I ask of thee,
make me the boy she wants
me to be.
Keep us now, keep us forever,
always loving, always together.
