The game

Let me try to lead you astray,
With a game that we could play.
But the game it must play two,
So let the other be you.

There is a place that you must see,
A wondrous place where you should be,
A beguiling place where you feel.
And the unreal becomes the real.

Place your hands across your chest
When the night is at its best.
Look at the moon think goblin theme
And let go like in a dream.

Here we have the perfect foil
Without the double bubble and boil.
We are now walking hand in hand.
In a true of Halloween land.

But I must insist a no touch code,
For if you do they will implode
This place is only good till morn.
And then you wake I hope at dawn.

I say I hope for this is a dare
Let go my hand and your forever there.
A child in a world of real unreal,
A child forever with no appeal.

There are many that live among us now.
You can tell, by looking their eyes and brow.

Very interesting piece, Seymour--would you mind elaborating a little for me?

"Dwelt a maid belov'd and cherish'd by high and low,
But with autumn leaf she perish'd, long time ago..."

"Something sweet, something sort of grandish, sweeps my soul when thou art near..."

Give me your hand Seymour
before I go running to the door
a knock I hear and a face the same
as the one you told of in your game.

Seymour:..If you could see my face and follow my weird humour this evening you would know why I'm laughing so much...

Brilliant poem, absolutely delightful..
