The Smile and The Frown

A frown is a smile turned upside down,
A way that we communicate.
A smile is a frown just turned around,
It is that simple to relate.

We have come to stand on bastions
Where a smile or a frown
Could simply answer the questions
A smile upside or down.

These simple symbols that we bear
In the movement of our face
Is still there within our care,
As simple as an act of grace.

So why can't we stop the wile,
By the simple of a goal,
Given in the frown or the smile,
From the inner of our soul?

Good poem, Sy. My ex-wife used to smile at me all the time. Of course, she was standing on her head at the time!

Smiles are the best! Good poem Seymour! My grandmother always used to say that my face was 'gonna' freeze that way whenever I frowned...so I guess that's why I always try to smile! (yeah, right!) Well I should always try to smile!
