I cling to a past that won't
set me free,
and they tell me tomorrow is another day.
But how can I go on when you kept me all
this time, and turned on me this way?

I know I spent all my free time trying
to hold on so that you might stay.
When all you ever wanted to do was get
yours and make me go my own way.

My heart and my feelings were shattered.
I new it was coming, but why today?
You could have picked a better time
than this, our wedding day.

Supposed to be the happiest moment of my life...
What did you expect me to say?
That I don't mind, but you could've picked
a better time to tell me you were gay.

~I was given the boot about 6 hours ago, and he couldn't even tell me. He had his sister tell me he was breaking up with me. The nerve! Anyone have any bitter women poems? If so, send them to me, my addy is ossa_rave@hotmail.com

All my hugs dear Lady. My own sister went through this, but she caught them in the act. I feel for you. Tell me what you require in a poem and you will have bitterness customed made for you.

I require a poem that has an anti-men slogan at least one time. I seem to be going around in circles. The same thing happened to me this time last year, dumped for someone else... I think I'll savor this self-pity. Not too often you come upon an excuse for it...

I sincerely hope you recover your heart soon and find someone not only worthy of your love by willing to return it.

Thank you all, I have been to hell and back tonight. (especially since I know he is with another woman right now) He left me because he made plans with her to go over her house this weekend, and i would've never known unless my friend told me he was going. He thought I wouldn't believe her, but I do. He's never told me the truth. And as to him leaving me for another man, it's not true, but he is gay, he's just "in the closet," but I feel leaving me for another woman is worse. I mean what does she have that I don't? What do alot women have but not me? Self-esteem? But if these girls are with him, it's cause they can't find a good man, and are settling for someone who will treat them like dirt. He had the chance at me, and he lost it. My wonderful self will go elsewhere. Well, maybe I'm not wonderful, but nobody's perfect.

Lorelei sorry to hear that. But if he treats them like dirt, than you're better off without him. May someone who will treat well and respectful take his place. I like your attitude there. Good way to look at it!

Death to him-or is it too good for the guy?

Thank you, all. I think I would rather see him suffer. Maybe one day, he'll look in the mirror and see that he's not as perfect as he thinks and that he has hurt me, when he always said he never wanted to hurt anyone. But death would be too good for him. I am a firm believer in the three-fold law, and boy, will he get it back.

Do not fret... Karma will find him in her sights. Sounds like he is unable to be true to himself... and until such time he'll never be true to anyone else. You're lucky to have found out now rather than several years down the road. Sorry for the pain of today, just don't let in jade you to a bitter end. As for the poem... really liked the first stanza.

So Sorry to hear thwe situation. perhaps one day, fate will arrange a revenge for him......perhaops when he is outr of the closet, one of his boyfriends will leave him for a woman
Seriously though I think we are all meant for something, and this is fate's way of saying you are not meant for him.
