I look at your dirty hands
I remember them so small.
Fingers long and slender
I made sure to count them all.

I look at your gleeming eyes
I remember them big and bright.
With long and black, thick eyelashes
I was jealous at their sight!

I look at your head full of hair
I remember it bald and smooth.
Then the curls came in soon after
Your first haircut it did remove.

I look at your smile so beautiful
I remember your toothless grin.
Your first pearls that came at 3 months
Now you're almost toothless once again.

I look at your kindness and generosity
I remember you made my heart swell.
Your first words were music to my soul
"I love you, Mommy" you soon would tell.

I look at you growing before my eyes
I remember you from the very start.
With every kick and flutter I felt
You brought happiness to my heart.

I look at my wonderful son today
I remember tears of joy and pain.
Giving birth to you gave me a new life
I'd do it all over again and again.

Such a beautiful tribute to the love that a parent feels for a child. Well done!

Beautiful tribute and they grow up far to quick, I'm still reeling that my little baby is now 4!!
