Silence gives way to the loon's haunting cry. With magic has his eerie song been kissed. Loon laughter echoes proudly to the sky. In ebony head rests a crimson eye. He spreads his wings in a majestic stance. His regal head tips to point at the sky. Gracefully folding wings he ends this dance. His symmetry is etched in black and white. Breast feathers' hue is like new fallen snow. His mournful song greets the coming twilight.
