The Darkest Days The darkest days are bleak and drab. They've lost all of their color. There is no green or gold or brillant red. The flowers look all withered sitting hapless, close together. Their petals lie in sad disharmony. Then further on the roads are jumbled up like limp spaghetti leading nowhere then they come right back. It leaves a taste of nothingness upon a tiny taste bud whose flavor is a sip of empty air. These are all the things we see while looking close around us. But this is when we should be looking up. All the colors in the world conduct another conference in arcs that put their brilliance in the sky. |
