I wrote these two poems about the same person.(someone i can never have)very fustrrating ill tell you anywho here they are.

how could
i put it
in words
exactly how
pathetic i
feel for
having
hoped even
for a fleeting moment
that which was
inevitably unattainable
i felt my heart
being squeezed
each time i saw you
and finally
it was crushed
because of my
foolish hopes
it was never
anything said
or insinuated
or anything you did
all the blame
lies soley on my
****ed up mental processes
i reached to high
and fell off
my arms flailing
all the way down
i still havent collided
with the ground
for it was
truely higher
than id ever reached
but the lack
of footholds
on the way down
is causing my
soul to painfully
scream at the
as of yet unseen ground
my only thought
on the way down
is to pray
im impaled
to avoid the
pain of hitting
or i could simply passout
from the lack of air
that rushes
by me
or rather sits motionless
while i screech
through it
im sorry if i
caught your tail
and pulled you
i let go
or am still trying
im not sure
everything is
so confusing for me
now
god i want to
stop this
its like im
continuing to
push the ground
away from me
a foot at
a time

i cant sleep
youre lying there
open mouth
messed up hair
i cant help but wonder
what you see
when you close your eyes
and slip into dreams
put my head down
face in palms
try to relax
its youre breath that calms
but i still cant sleep

anywho id like to hear some comments please

Whew! I felt like I was falling with you while reading the first one! Very good!
Unrequited love does hurt but remember no hopes are ever foolish, whether they are realized or not is another story. The second one was calm and sweet! Welcome to Passions.
I know you'll find this a great place to hang out!
