Remembering I sit and hold your hand and watch you slowly slip away. Each hour added to your life is like another day. For in these precious moments we relive our memories. And even spend some time recalling our tempestuous seas. Here come tears of sorrow now, your life is almost gone, and I remember happy days, as you try to hang on. But now let's talk about the cats and dogs, the pets we've had, and in the midst of sorrow, find a moment to be glad. Then as hours dwindle, we'll walk closer in the past. And when your life is over, we'll have reached today at last. Our life together was so short but lived so wonderfully. We had a chance to live it twice, together you and me.
