Wanting to be loved She has three wonderful joys One girl and two boys. You know she would be a very good wife. But because she has children You don’t want her in your life. You want a love unchallenged. Brother, you heart is unbalanced. Examine your thinking and consider your ways. Or you might be sorry for the rest of your days. She is wanting to be loved. The door of her heart is Cautiously open. Yet she will not waste her life Just sitting around hoping. She is wanting to be loved, but... By a man who will first become her friend. This man will not fear commitment Nor the challenge of love’s judgement. If you are a man, not willing of such. Then do her a favor and stay out of touch, Because she is wanting to be loved. |

This sounds just like my friend who is a church secretary and desperately wants to be loved, but only by the right man. She too has a child (now 15) and is still searching. ------------------ If you love me like music, I'll be your song. ~Heart~ Dreamboat Annie |

Thanks for taking the time to read this poet. I have seen many good women passed up by men who did not want a ready made family. I wrote this in admiration of the women who go on with their lives in spite of loneliness. |

Very sad and true thing..."the ready made family" scares off many men, but if a man's love can't reach beyond a lady to her children, I question the value of his love to begin with. Good poem, Preacher. ------------------ Michael Anderson Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream? |

Umm Preacher...do you know me? You have summed up my life pretty well. One girl and two boys. Waiting to be loved, but not letting my life stagnate in the waiting. What is that song? "Singing my life with his words." You have accomplished that. Thanks for the read. |
