In dark of night the wolves do howl. The moon is full, the witches play. The ghosts and ghouls begin to prowl. The evil hearts enjoy the fray. The moon is full, the witches play. As cauldron boil with fearful brews. The evil hearts enjoy the fray. To stir good hearts to darker cues. As cauldron boil with fearful brews. An eye of Newt, a dragon's nail. To stir good hearts to darker cues. They find the ones that are too frail. An eye of Newt, a dragon's nail, A bats right wing, a puppy's foot. They find the ones that are too frail. Watch them all scream, covered in soot. A bat's right wing, a puppy's foot. All hoping for the dawn's first rays. Watch them all scream, covered in soot. The frail fall down and start to pray. hoot....Thanks for the A my friend. I can't wait for yours to be posted here. Denise....Thanks for your time and comments my friend. Balladeer....Your comments on my work are always appreciated. The fact that you like it makes me want to create more great pieces. This one took time and effort as well as Nan's help in the workshop to master. I am learning my friend. LOL Alwye...Thankyou. Systematic Decay....I wrote this piece from a dark perspective. What better thing to add to a dark spell but something innocent and cute. The spell was to turn good hearts to darkness. |
