I held you close to my heart, I always have. You held me and brushed my hand, As we layed next to each other for hours. We spent days together, Had pillow fights, Laughed and talked for hours. You made me laugh, As I do you. We ran through the rain, And you took off your jacket, Placed it over my head so I wouldn't get wet. You walked me out to my car at 3:00 in the morning, in the dark. You hugged me, And held me... But when I told you my feelings, You told me you didn't feel the same. I looked deep into your eyes, And you know I knew you were lying. But why would you lie? I don't understand... I will always be here, If you need me. |

This remembrance poem is sad, and sometimes one doesn't get what s/he expects. *slaps head* have I forgot my manners? Welcome to the family too! |

Thanks Poet De Vine & Artur Hawkwing! There is some amazing talent on this website. I only wish I'd only found it sooner! |
