The dawn moon and the dusk sun Were our most valued treasures. With the dawn moon came all of our dreams, we could make them and live them as we pleased. In came the dusk sun when the long day was finally done as we welcomed all that would come. But it was all the things that found us between the dawn moon and the dusk sun That would most color our imaginations and all that we were. It was the things between the dawn moon and the dusk sun that would shape What was gone and what was to come. |

Very imaginative piece. Darkness and Light balanced. ------------------ Patience is a virtue, but virtue has never been one of my redeeming qualities. |

Welcome to the family. As you may see, we are in the midst of a Freedom frenzy....for the Fourth of July, Freedom poems keep getting moved to the top of line.... I wanted though, to comment on your poem and to welcome you to our group. I hope you enjoy your stay. For some reason, this reminds me of the South.. old trees, moss covered... an old garden with fading roses... Nice poem. I look forward to more! ![]() |

The wording is almost magical, and feels like you've entered a new realm. Wonderful. Please submit many more. ------------------ Sunshine Words will always express our feelings true |
