Shattered Dreams My heart before broken, now is shattered You made me believe I was all that mattered You gave me romance, I gave you trust I showed you love, you showed me lust In a world full of games you win them all For just how hard you made me fall I honored the vows I spoke to you You made me see words can be untrue You say you were confused, a little unsure When did it become clear? When you met her? And now you are worried about me it seems After you went and shattered all my dreams Let me clear this up just one time Don’t worry darling, I will be fine I see things more clearly now thanks to you My heartache shows what love wouldn’t let through The reality is that from the start You loved me with your body, I loved you with my heart. |
