Relatively Speaking

Sitting in the doctors office one day and trying very hard not to notice the obvious confusion going on, it occurred to me That

This insanity is spreading
some people have it worse
is it the parents or the kids
or the parents who are still kids?

Immature reasonings with no where to turn,
No real learning has ever taken place
At best it’s been a struggle
Day to day
Moment to moment
With no meaningful guidence

Ignorance is thus passed on
down thru the generations
of those who will never seek
what it is they know not
what they lack.

thinking on these things I wondered about myself, I had wonderful parents loving but strict raising me in a manner not that of which I have chose to live,so my next thought was
"Are we a product of our enviroment, or of our own hardheadedness"?
