Wind, blow across the ocean Fly swiftly over land And take for me this message I know she'll understand A message for my true love Reminding her I care And though my body's absent My thoughts are always there If you cannot find her Ask your friend the sun Say that you are seeking The other half of one When you find my darling Blow a kiss from me And tell her once the waiting's through We'll be forever free Remind her of a pledge we made A pledge I still hold dear A promise that will matter For all time and a year And tell her we're together Even when apart For at the beach in February We joined souls and hearts |

Nicely done. I particularly enjoyed the third stanza. |

Sigh...How wonderful this message, I hope it reaches her and touches her heart as deeply as it touched mine! ------------------ For sometimes when the Darkness falls, we must surrender, take what is ours, and give what we can, and always remember love is somewhere waiting... |

Ah, I loved how your thoughts just clicked out so nicely especially in the first part of this....everything had such a nice rhythm...and wow your thoughts were beautiful!! ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..." Yeah it's me, back here in the "dark dusty corners" of the forum....doing a bit of post summer cleaning, and I'm finding the most beautiful gems among the spider webs......hhmmmm....This is absolutely a lover's treasure....ENJOY ! To all who missed it the first time, here is ERIC ! ------------------ I beckon you to come...I lure you with my tongue... - poet FemmeFatale |

Yet another reason to look through the archives and find what's been buried there...Hope she liked this one, Eric! ------------------ *Elizabeth* "Dwelt a maid belov'd and cherish'd by high and low, But with autumn leaf she perish'd, long time ago..." |
