If I could tear out my heart
And show it to you
Would you be able to see
That my love is true?

If I could split my skull
And hand to you my brain
Would you see my thoughts of you
And put it back again?

If I could only separate
My body from my soul
Would you see I'm incomplete
And need you to be whole?

If I could be with you now
And our lips could touch
Would you feel in that first kiss
That I love you so very much?

I cannot do these things for you
My words are all I can give
But I promise if you'll have me
All my life for you I'll live

I really like this poem!! It is written very well and reminds me of....never mind.
