This disappeared before I could read the replies, so I'm re-posting it. The sum of my knowledge, the entirety of my tale, wandering about, destined to fail. Whispers in the wind, the tales they tell, the things they know, all to my ears descend. Indulgence in life, it's purpose absurd. People rejoice while all around voices go unheard. With pleasure comes screams of ecstasy, with life comes screams of agony. Whispers ignored, thoughts unexplored, brings humanity to ruin and ignorance is adored. The light of my soul, with darkness is shining. With my knowledge of life, death's power is entwining. I fight this force with a weapon mightier than the sword, this pen in hand channels my word. Turgidity and torpidity my thoughts dissolve, the power which directs me I cannot absolve. ------------------ Patience is a virtue, but virtue has never been one of my redeeming qualities. |

I don't know. To me, it sounds rather dark. Maybe I am taking it in wrong? Perhaps reading too much into it? The word usage is very good. Maybe I should read it when I'm sad....or something. Ah, fooey...I don't know. LOL |

Much of what I write is dark, but it interested you enough to reply. That is enough. Thank you. |
