standing with total emotion,
i gazed at the face before me.
i had never really looked before
and i found it quite amazing.

i didn't really like the look of it,
always seemed so odd.
i never took the time to pay attention,
rarely gave it a thought.

this time there was something different,
something i hadn't noticed before,
and when i realized what it was
it opened a very important door.

i stared into that mirror
and ultimately to my suprise,
i realized that the reflection wasn't what mattered
it was that which was hidden in the eyes.

Well done.....I believe in a bit of self- awareness myself. You just look a little deeper. You know, that really says a lot of you. I'm willing to bet you're a great friend to have. Just a guess....
