A long time ago, at a wedding
Before the evening had passed
A miracle happened; the guests said
“They saved the best till last.”

Two thousand years later
I prayed for a miracle each night
That I would find a lovely lady
To be my Mrs. Right.

I knew when I met you
I couldn’t let this chance pass.
I saved all my love for you
I saved the best till last.

You are that lady for me
I knew my dream had come true
I knew this the very day
I fell in love with you.

I’m glad you’re the woman
The one I loved enough to ask
To have a life with me
To save our best till last.

wonderful sentiment! Good story well put together with a wonderful message. (other than that, it was so-so) Nicely done.
