Names
thousands of them
etched white on shiny black.
Each name supported by another.
One on top of the other, row upon row.
Risingk uninterrupted from the ground, reaching
to the sky. Mirroring quietly the testament of their devotion.

Both works by names of 'Names 1 & 2' are wonderful and fitting tributes to the many war memorials, from local plaques and statues to the Vietnam War Memorial, the armed services Wailing Wall.
