My quill of the future Can not continue to ignore What all men sought after In the books of ancient lore So now you are given The credit you are due As my quill of the future Spells out the tale of you A beautiful pearl In a distant land Precious memories I hold Are as seeping sand I do not fear, though, For they are replaced by more Through distant conversation We continue the tale of our future folk lore. This tale is now only beginning I hope it will soon never end This quill of the future I tell you, is our dearest friend. I anticipate the day I can read How our tale of lore will finish No matter the outcome, though. This quill will be there to capture it. |
