Oh, how did I ever find thee? Was it at the whim of Fate? Or the planned hand of Destiny? A chance throw upon a clean slate? Oh, how did I ever find thee? Like so many grains of sand Tossed upon the shore from a torrent sea Powerless over where we land Oh, how did I ever find thee? Beings caught in the current of Time Drifting in past, present and future eddies Within bottomless soundings of the hour's chime Oh, how did I ever find thee? Were I to take the world's vastness at a run Reveling in all the eye could see Treasures would still forever lie beyond the horizon Oh, how did I ever find thee? The answer may be a mystery for the sages But the truth is clear for me Query the question of the ages And I shall claim "Love is how we came to be" |

Andrew... excellent offering- I love the fact that your repition actually ads to the depth of the poem instead of distracting from it- it flows very nicely. Almost reminds me of Byron or Browning. -Christina |

Nicely done, Andrew. When you look at all the steps that had to fall into place just perfectly, its a wonder any of us found anyone. I'm glad you found us. Welcome |
