Honey please come home I feel like I am having an affair With the phone When you are on the other end I try to pretend The voice in my ear Is you standing near So I kiss it And lick it And when it doesn't kiss back I drop-kick it I get so frustrated At times that I cry Why can you not be here? Why, why, why, why?! I love you so much But I still feel alone When all I can do Is kiss you through the phone Even though I feel all these things I will pray to hear your voice The next time it rings (personal PS: Hurry home to me Kari!!!) ------------------ Steven Seaman A burden shared is a burden lightened A life shared is a life enriched [This message has been edited by sea_of_okc (edited 06-25-99).] |

loving, yet also funny, do we have to report you to the phone company? I like the way you write. I bet the plastic doesn't taste as nice as a real kiss though. |

Boy can I relate to this one, even though I can't say I have kissed, or licked the phone,I can say that I've wished I could just crawl through the receiver to reach in and hug my distant husband and friends. |
