You Complete Me

I wrote this poem a couple of years ago, hoping to find the perfect boyfriend who would fit the description. I have now and he is absolutely perfect in every way.

You complete me; you complete everything I am
You are my hero and my strength
You share my feelings and my dreams
You gave me the world so graciously
You helped me discover myself and all I can ever hope to be
You held my hand when I cried tears of sorrow
You rejoiced with me when I cried tears of joy
You let me discover how it feels to be loved
And to love someone until it hurts
You put me on a pedestal for all to see
You don't care to show others how you feel about me
As we walk through the darkness you held my hand
And led the way.

We definitely have our desires in common and I'm glad you found someone to complete all of these things in the poem it is great! Thank you for sharing it with me
