I choose the most dramatic words to say my life has been one long play no matter what I feel inside bring down the curtain I want to hide. A clown’s face here, you might see or heroine in Greek tragedy I’ll play this part until I’ve died. bring down the curtain I have to hide. I do not seek applause or praise nor accolades for my plays nothing left, no shred of pride bring down the curtain I need to hide. |
