Whenever I've got in this thick skull
The notion to be someone new
Please remind me with your fist
To always to self be true

Oft I dream of grander things
Than I will ever do
Fantastical and whimsical
I often wish them true

Deep inside I know I'm not
The man I wish to be
I can only be who I am
Truth, not fantasy

So if ever in this thick skull
I wish to be someone new
Please remind me with a kiss
To always to self be true
