Memories come and memories go, But one has always stayed. Thoes brief moments spent with him, Somehow just won't fade. I keep searching, for a way To occupy my mind. To absorb myself in other things, and leave thoes memories behind. But some how I can't forget, I seem to loose control. Then I become consumed, of a memory, that's so bold. At least I have the memories, To cherish and to hold. My love was not returned, So it's locked within my soul. It only hurts for a little while, To think what could have been. But then I sigh and carry on, As memories seep in again. Memories come and memories go, But one will always be. And that's the one of, my love, It's my favorite memory. |

Beautiful, Kitty**. I wholeheartedly agree that sometimes you can't let go of your memories-or they can't let go of you. It's also good that you know not to dwell on them. ------------------ *Elizabeth* "Dwelt a maid belov'd and cherish'd by high and low, But with autumn leaf she perish'd, long time ago..." |
