Able-Minded Newsman Goes Spinny (PW) A man in his early 40's, wanted in connection with several armed robberies, has been found dead of botulism. It seems that while enjoying a night of alcoholic over-indulgence, Mr. Gene Stoodely decided upon a light snack which would be his undoing. Set on his small stove a brown pot it was stewing. Under Gene's slick brow, ideas were brewing. He suddenly realized the bone he was chewing, Was seven days old! He saw some light mold! Why didn't he realize it was more than cold? He lurched to the sink! He needed a drink! The froth 'pon his lips was mottled and pink. Tap pressure was poor, So he lunged cross the floor, A garden hose lay 20 feet from the door. But snow deeply lay, The hose would not spray. Gene cursed all dead chickens and galloped away. He slipped on his sled, Smashed up his poor head, And (as well as being poisoned), Gene fell down stone dead. Police are currently investigating the situation. ------------------ Poetic Wheelbarrow http://www.stormloader.com/poetwheel/den.html ICQ: 44370408 |
