The Choice (To Becki) I know what is is that I want, But seemingly I can't decide, My dreams are but places to haunt, Emotions are churning inside. There is no real reason to stop, Why can't I believe what I'm fed, Some logic that I tend to drop, Decide with you heart, not your head. I know the decision I'll make, I've known it for quite some time, It would be a real piece of cake, If I could just get past my mind. Now leave me you demons and lies, And find someone else to confuse, You failed to lead me to demise, I know now that I will not lose. I hope that it isn't too late, Somehow I believe that it's not, Please take me from my current state, As we move ahead from this spot. ------------------ JohnDoe ------------------------- You are my strong melody. You are my dancing rythm. You are my perfect rhyme. And I want to sing forever. You're my beautiful, my sweet, sweet song. I will sing again. |

Your poetry never ceases to amaze me. But what does this mean for her? Let me guess...she's a sweet girl you left on shore when you set sail on some forbidden journey...now you regret the day you left as your heart echoes the raging sea...and maybe, just maybe, as the sun peeks over the horizen to calm the torment of your soul, she waits for you at home... |
