This one's thick That one's thin Verna is lisping Kerril has stutters Jane plucks hair Carrie chews locks Lynne eats boogers Margel gnaws pencils Till they're gone Laurril bites fingers Towards bloody pulp Juniper's thick tangles They're never combed Allie's raggedy clothes Are worn apart Casey wildly dances Over wish bridges She can't stop ----- That idiotic smile Pasted upon lips Ileena daydreams Staring at clocks Maisey eats snacks Out garbage cans Linnee hides away In potty rooms Calli wears doll things Covering her blood One's too womanly One's too immature They're too old For their vices Teachers hate them In school rooms Children murder them Within play yards They wander home Under days ends Knowing what comes They mustn't tell They're all neglected They're all abused They're too old ----- For their vices No one cares They're already ----- TWELVE. |

Meant to make you think, and whatever you get out of it will be your decision of what it's about. I won't tell you what I meant when I wrote it. |

Weird poem...makes you wonder, but I have a feeling I know why you wrote it. |
