I Seek

I seek the rippled sands
the flush of the ocean
the sunlight upon my skin

I seek you and me together
walking hand in hand
journeying down the coastline
as the sun sets over land

I seek our gifted journey
deep within my heart
for I knew I truly loved you
right from the very start

"She looked at her life
like lines, never-ending,
constantly forming,
reforming and bending."

~onevoice~, I thank you very much for your kind reply. I am missing the beach this summer, so I think that's what brought this about. I almost went to visit friends at the beach this week, but the big bad bridge huffed, and puffed and blew me away.

It's always a treat so see how much you can say in so few words.
