Words that flow so effortlessly,
Make me wonder if thye are my own.
Other times words elude me,
Like transparent soap bubbles;
Blown on the wind.
And then there are the
Overwhelming,
Overpowering;
Floods of images.
Stifling,
confusing;
Almost crushing.
Such is the art of the pen!

This is so true! Sometimes a poem is so easy to write...other times not! Good one!

Yeah, what deVine said....there have been times when I can't write fast enough....and there are times when I sit for hours, banging my head and "forcing" a piece together.....! Isn't it funny? Very nice piece here!
