Sitting here in this room, With nothing better to do, I think of all that I threw away And all the love I gave to you. When everything is gone, Except one hope hanging by a thread; When everything important Except one last wish, is dead... I sit here, wishing you out of my head. As the clouds just keep moving in, And there is no sun to see, I just keep wishing That you were here with me. And it's not surprising that I am Sitting here in this room, With nothing better to do Than think of all that you threw away, Like the love I gave to you. ------------------ Shannon D. I think we've all been in that room... lord knows I've got my own personal chair and table in there.... sometimes it's hard to find the strength to leave. memories are powerful things. one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite songs- "and the next time I fall I'm gonna have to be calm- it isn't love- it's only something new." Once you leave the room I think you'll find that new memories are there..waiting to be made, and the pain feels not so close to heart. "newbie" Christina |

Thank you, Christina! I do hope you are right, that one day the pain won't feel so close to the heart. Your insight and comments are very much appreciated. ------------------ Shannon D. Montgomery ("Krystal") |
