I am me, as I have found. Not as before, the silly child, the mature, manly facade, or the puppet, who moves at your beck and call. I am me. I may be somewhat erratic and eccentric. I may be calm and routined. I may be shy and quiet, or I may be boisterous and gregarious. But... I am still me. I like privacy and time to think alone. I am not a snob or a recluse, for I can be very warm and friendly. I can give sound advice, or just be someone to talk to. I am me. Friends I welcome with open arms. Intruders, I shut out. My life is mine, in solitude, unless I decide to share it. because... I am me. I am one I am unique I am me. ------------------ Such is the way to immortality ;) |
