If you remember the case of Susan Smith drowning her own children in a car in the lake. That is what inspired this song shortly after that. (p.s. I was very angry at the time). sorry

Who's assigned to them
to make sure they make it home
right up to the gate
so they aren't left alone
who's responsible
tell me who they are
I'd like to speak to them
tell me who's in charge

(chorus)
Who watches over angels
when they can't find their way
through their darkest hours
and throught their darkest days
maybe there's just not enough
of them to go around
cause I see fallen angels on the ground
and noone's watching now

Who will answer for
the things that we have done
to all the little angels
the daughters and the sons
All they ever ask for
is someone to believe
it doesn't seem like much
to ask to me

chorus

Who will answer for
the things we didn't do
all the times we told ourselves
there's nothing we can do
We don't want to remember
we don't want to forget
there's never enough angels
but plenty of regrets

So who's assigned to them?
to make sure they make it home......
.......

Words from broken hearts! I'm a "die hard" for the children person! They're so innocent, so trusting, and sometimes they're so abused and unloved...they hardly ever complain about it because they know no other way of being treated. *tears streaming down my cheeks* Those were very caring, beautiful, and truthful words. Thank you. I just posted a poem NO One Cared...and we must be on the same wavelength tonight.....

That is so sad.But we can take comfort in
knowing they are up in heaven.Even though
you question that. All children go to heaven.

Dear Delores:

I don't question that all children go to heaven.. I just wonder , sometimes..
where was their guardian angel when they needed one. (see?)
We all think or believe we have one don't we?
So my thought was.. where was theirs? On vacation??
I have a childlike thought that we are all "assigned" a guardian angel.
So my point was.. "someone fell down on the job"

That's all, simple, plain, direct. i don't understand..
I know God didn't make those children die, she did. But I just want to make sure. they have someone to guide their way and they aren't lost. ( just a hope and child's wish)
I hope you understand. All children go to heaven, so do all dogs, and kittens and everything that is loved, goes to heaven.
I believe that's how you get in. I've said it before.
We're not judged by how much "we" love.
but by how much "we" are loved by "others"

I do remember this. I remember being angry too, I cannot understand people like this. She was one sick individual!!!

Yes, I agree we all have an angel watching over us. But they don't necessarily intervene.
She will answer for what she has done, and she has to live with it until the day she meets her maker! And I hope she suffers in her thoughts of what she did until that day!!!

I'm glad "someone" remembers. Cause I'll never forget it!
Thanks for your comment
