Determination©1999 by Genea Parker Oh maudlin morning! Don't weep for me! In my weakness, darkest fears found me, Then sleep, like a white winter panel Silently shrouded my world. In my dream, I was a runner, Flannel jacket zipped tight to keep out the crisp cold. I ran with strong swift strides, Racing time uphill. The sound of rain mocked me, And I awakened, Still locked in, With unmoving limbs. Don't weep for me, dawn. I will walk again! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ before anyone asks...NO, this is not about me. :-) ~Genea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------ Thanks for taking the time to read.
