Prey do not think buffoon My feelings within like a sin Rise from the deep But they never stay deep within When I'm asleep. A chasm holds them deep and grim, Where are no bars, It lies there just within the rim, Love and the stars. But would the chasm have a floor, Or I some wings, I would do much much more then soar And wish for things. We'd soar, soar with wings together Out the abyss, And fly as light as a feather, Floating in bliss. We would comet and light the night And day the sky, Laying the heavens in plain sight, Before all eyes. We would sing a duet of love, Laugh and cajole, And I'd send a bouquet by dove, Holding my soul. A large carat star your finger, The ring would be And married thus we could linger, Forever free. |
