How can I get my basement clean?
Those cellar dwellers are so mean!
Undoing all that I have done,
They think - perhaps I'm having fun?

Scrub as I might they do not care.
They hide in corners everywhere;
These little fellers pink in hue
Conspirators, my work undo.

I hear them twitter at my back,
Cacophonous counter attack.
Each corner now devoid of stuff,
Upon the walls I see them stuck!!

These puny paired prolific pests
Have brand new Cellar Dweller nests.
Their young imprint me as their mom
And cling to me. Where'd they come from?

I scoop them up, neat as you please,
But - WHOOSH - they're off then with a breeze.
Sweep them again to cast them out,
'All Cellar Dwellers, SCAT", I shout!!

I'll never win this war, I fear.
These Cellar Dwellers will live here
Long after this is not my home -
Pink peanut packing styrofoam...

Plurker's on Cellar Dweller Patrol......

Nay, if our wits run the Wild-Goose chase, I am done:
For thou hast more of the Wild-Goose in one of thy wits,
Than I am sure I have in my whole five.

gNan! Congress should put those pink babies on the endangered species list, then make it legal to hunt them. In no time at all, they'll be extinct! Loved yer poem.

LOL Nan~ Get a broom and sweep down those nasty spider webs! Then you'll understand, finally!

Spiders fear Artur the Web-Terminator.

Nan, guess what! Here in Florida we have roaches that will rid your cellar of styrofoam peanuts overnight. They also eat stray cats...

Good one!

So what's wrong with a cellar dweller?
Poor misunderstood little feller!
Throughout the whole house, you can go
But he is stuck, entombed, below.

He had no say in where to reside
So, in the cellar, he must hide.
He would prefer a nicer encasement
Than suffering by your debasement!

ROTFL
...You also have Mr. BIGROACH - TERMINATOR
I wonder if he exterminates pink peanuts????

In your celler I did recline
and sipped upon some real fine wine
and after 5 or 6, I think
I had myself one more drink

It was then that I espied
a pink elephant did there reside
so I threw peanuts, pink and blue
'cause I was trying to help you!

They're mating again, those pesky little peanut pieces! Packing is a pain. Putting all those peanut pieces pushed together tight, practically popping out of the package, just to protect your pieces of piddly stuff. And then they proliferate! Pesky little peanut pieces! It's enought to make you paranoid!

Pandora I relied on you
To keep the Dwellers to a few.
You should have kept them in that box
For now they're sticking to my socks.

You mean deVine that all that pink
And messy basement's awful stink
Was not from pesky dwellers hung
But really 'twas pink elephant dung?
