Kingdom Of Passions Far away in a land where only fingers, and mouses can transport, lies a kingdom of passions. The largest, brightest place one could ever imagine, where etchings on the walls are created by the royal King, Queen, Princes, and Princesses of the kingdom. Let me introduce you to Ron, our crowned King. Seated beside his majesty is the crowned Queen Nan. They tend to all the aches, and pains of all that abide within the kingdom of passions. Amongst the acres of land in this large, bright place there march many knights in shinning armor. Their words be their swords as they tear juice from your eyes, or as they gently caress a smile to your face. Some use their swords to shave you to the ground in hilarious laughter. Welcome to the kingdom of passions where minds come together to share their inner most thoughts, dreams, and humor. Where everyone becomes enlightened through the talents of others. |

It's just a game of chess and I am but a pawn. It's nothing more or less -- our words a drawbridge drawn to bring the castle Truth and echoes of our mind. A Passions game of chess, with stanzas, verse, and rhyme. |

Great poem! But does this mean we all have to curtsey to Ron and Nan? I better start practicing so I don't fall on my ..face. Seriously, I loved the line about everyone being enlightened through the talents of the others...that is certainly true! |

This pawn comes passing by with verse, one small square at a time. Then wayout rook and dr'evil knight attack with poems sublime. Black knight asserts advancing threat, White bishop Tim eschews the cheque from angled distance, yet the Sunshine rook ensues. This Passion chess is quizzical, amusing, yet intense. Next move for pawn, a physical PERI-meter offense. [This message has been edited by doreen peri (edited 08-14-99).] |
