Will someone please explain to me just what I need to know? I look for answers carefully, but none do seem to show. When it’s love that you would die for, just where is it you go, when One you love betrays you more than you would like to know? Could someone please shed light on me and let me know what’s real? I’ve been betrayed so truthfully- I don’t know how to feel. Wondering if it’s another... it bites upon my heel. I’m a wife and I’m a mother- I’m losing what is real. Where does he go in dead of night? Where is he when I wake? Why is it I go through this fright? Did I make a mistake? Perhaps, some day I will find trust if my life He should take. For now, I’ll do just what I must. From nightmares I will wake. These dreams of madness keep me sane. I lie in bed alone. Like raindrops on the window pane, I fall to earth and stone. I roll in mud, the filth and muck. I hear the gentle drone. I find that I am all but stuck. And I am all alone. ©1999 Erin Solari ------------------ ~onevoice~ "She looked at her life like lines, never-ending, constantly forming, reforming and bending." |

I'm sorry, my dear. I have few answers, only a dry shoulder and an open heart to offer. ------------------ Shall I indulge in flights of fancy hampered by clipped wings? DreamEvil© |

Would that I could answer, but I can not for such questions I've never had to ask and such answers I've never had to seek. I only hope your offering here is far from the truth of your life... if not, then you have my support within these poetic halls. My best to you as you have shown your best here. Thanks for sharing. |

You must find the answers yourself, one voice, but, if it is any consolation, you are not alone. You have family here. |

I must thank you all! And Poet deVine, such praise from you is ego-boosting! Thank you. ------------------ ~onevoice~ "She looked at her life like lines, never-ending, constantly forming, reforming and bending." |

You're never truly alone, as long as there's love in your heart to give! And it seems to me that since you're searching for an answer, you care. And as long as you care, there's always hope! ------------------ ...the things I did not know at first, I learned by doing twice. -Billy Joel |

Dear One, Please remember, he is but one of many parts that make up the whole of You. I feel for you and the anguish you've expressed. Love yourself, love your children and you will fill that void. Enough preaching....thank you for the touching poem! |

My tears are streaming down my face, a deep corner of my heart, your poem touched, for great pain I have known and to your soul, a sister am I. |

love your self...and your heart will never be broken...that is the most important, and most precious love of all, in my opinion (for what it's worth) |

I know how you feel - that sort of loneliness is the hardest to bear. Keep writing - we are there for you. |
