I rose from bed, Was full of dread, As down the hall I walked. I looked behind, And I did find, Was by a black cat stalked. I ran inside My room to hide, Tripped and broke the mirror. Went to the kitchen, By now was bitchin' What else is there to fear? On breakfast steak, The salt did shake, Spilled some on the table. My wife was there, She said beware, Best leave while you're still able. Across the floor, And out the door, Walked beneath a ladder. I then did scream, Was not a dream, How could this day go badder? I stepped on crack And wrenched my back, As bent down for the news. I saw the date, Can now relate, Got the Friday the 13th blues. |

INSANITY REIGNS!!------------------ Nay, if our wits run the Wild-Goose chase, I am done: For thou hast more of the Wild-Goose in one of thy wits, Than I am sure I have in my whole five. ~ ²1592 Wm. Shakespeare ~ Romeo & Juliet ~ ii. iv. 75 |

I cower in bed on this day of days under jammies I wear my Depends For I will not venture forth until Friday the 13th ends. My lunch is brought without salt on paper plates that won't break Superstitious? Not I! Heaven forbid! It's just there are no chances I'll take! Neener, neener? Is this the erudite lawyer speaking? Do you end your summations with - "he's guilty Your Honor! Neener, neener!" |

Mirror mirror on the wall please don't break or I will bawl Ladder ladder, standing your ground 'scuse me while I walk around Black cat black cat, hurry, SCAT! for on Friday 13th, my heart pitty-pats. Superstitious, no, not me but if you see me being blue 'cause everything's gone wrong, then blame the 13th, and hoist a brew and share one with a friend or two. ------------------ Sunshine Words will always express our feelings true. ~~~ KRJ Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

Paranoid of a number? My fave number is 26. That is 13 x 2. Aah. Is your back O.K.? The poem was very fitting. |
